Privacy Policy

This policy describes how ExpertEngine LLC d/b/a ComplianceDocs handles personal information for this site.

What we collect

  • Purchase information. Checkout is processed by Stripe; we receive your email address and order details so we can deliver files and provide support. We never see or store your card number.
  • Support email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence to help you.
  • Basic technical logs. Our hosting providers log requests (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability.

What we don't do

  • No accounts, no profiles, no tracking ads, no sale of personal data.
  • No marketing emails unless you explicitly ask for updates.

Service providers

Stripe (payments), Supabase (order records and file delivery), Vercel (hosting). Each processes data under its own terms as our service provider. Marketplace purchases (Etsy, Gumroad) are governed by those platforms' privacy policies.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site — which pages are read and where traffic comes from — so we can improve it. This sets first-party analytics cookies and shares usage data with Google as our processor. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a browser extension, and the site will still work normally.

We also set one first-party cookie of our own. When you first arrive, it records how you reached us — the referring site, the page you landed on, and any campaign tags in the link — and keeps that for six months. If you later buy something, that record is attached to your order, so it is stored with our payment processor as part of that order and is not shared with anyone else. It contains no name, email, or account identifier, and it is not used to advertise to you or to recognize you on other sites. Note that if you reach us through a campaign link, whatever the sender put in that link's tracking tags is what gets recorded. Clearing your cookies removes it, and the site works normally without it.

Retention & your rights

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal data (subject to records we must legally keep) by emailing support@compliancedocshq.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or object to the processing of your personal data; we honor those requests where the law applies.

Children's privacy

This is a business-to-business website that is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and revise the date below. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@compliancedocshq.com.
